Yesterday, Nab and I headed off to the city to do some groceries and also self - shopping.. We went to the city at 11am. I've been craving to window shop for a long time.. As you all may know that I was in Brunei for the last two months doing my Surgical rotation at RIPAS, there's not much choices available to do window shopping or even shopping in Brunei. Not that I'm saying that the shops in Brunei are crap or not uptodate but simply, I find that it's hard to find good stuffs in Brunei that suit my taste.. I do shop in Brunei once a week but most of the time, we only do food and necessities shopping..
So back to my story, I bought 2 pairs of shoes yesterday for my clinical wear. It was on sale!! yay.. One was from London Rebel and the other was from Crocs. I am not fussy in choosing shoes as long as it fits comfortably and looks nice on me.. and most importantly, the price must be reasonable..
Then, guess what??!!! I also bought a watch hehehe.. I've always wanted to buy myself a watch for everyday use.. since, I only have my pink guess watch to use daily.. and more excitingly, it's a digital watch!! The saleslady gave me 20% discount on buying the watch yesterday and the baby-G watch only costs me less than $200.. I think that's a wise and good investment!! Do you agree with me??
Then later in the afternoon, we went to Chinatown and bought meat for the coming ramadhan.. yay! I am looking fwd for Ramadhan and its blessings.. Lets all aim for 100% this year! Amin.. I miss the good time spent with family during ramadhan..

Welcome to my first blog
Salam to all,
Alhamdulillah, finally managed to find some time and also interest to blog. It has been a long time since I last blog using my other account. and oh yes, Welcome to my second blogspot. I guess some ppl may be wondering why I signed up for a second account and kinda 'deactivate' my first account. Well, I dont have any particular reasons, but I just feel like I need a new start.. Fresh and something new!! But having said so, my first account http://missmarvel137.blogspot.com will still remain accessible to all :)
So, little but updates about me! I am right now in Brisbane, currently doing my 4th rotation of the year i.e Mental Health at Redlands hospital. I have just started a week ago and have not seen and exposed much of the mental conditions. So far, I enjoy the rotation but the journey to get to the hospital is definitely killing me softly.. well, lucky I was not alone and Nab is traveling with me too.. we had to leave the house at 640am and took bus to Uni, where we changed bus to Parkroad station and took the train for 1 hour to Cleveland station and lastly took another bus to Redlands hospital.. and that is going to be our daily weekdays routine for the next 7 weeks!! Boring... but lets just hope that the experiences and teachings gained from this rotation will cover all the boring and costly ride.. Mental health rotation so far, I think is interesting, fun and can be funny and scary too..
It is still winter season.. Having said so, if you've never been to Brisbane, dont think winter here is the same as winter in UK or europe etc.. The weather is cold and sometimes chilly at night, but other than that, we have this lovely sunshine in the morning!!
Oh yes, its holiday today for the Redlands people which gives me some time to relax at home.. Later tonight, the gals and I will be watching Medrevue at UQ..
